Using Keywords for PPC
Using keywords for pay per click purposes is a bit different than using them for search engine optimization purposes. First of all, instead of ranking in the natural, free, search results, you are now going to be paying per click for your rankings. Some people prefer PPC to SEO because it takes less effort (but more money) -- the only way to see what you prefer is to try it out!
Go ahead and type in the niche or keywords you are interested in appearing for in your Google search bar. See what paid search results come up on the right-hand side. Also, examine how people have written their ads.
If the marketer is smart, then they have used their particular keyword in their ad to help draw in the buyers. That's because it is all about relevancy! If someone has typed in a particular keyword, the chances are that that it is exactly what they want to find. The advertisers who are appearing for the search term are bidding for their position because they want to be there.
For less popular keywords, the advertisers may just be paying a few cents every time someone clicks on their ad. More popular keywords can cost several dollars for every single click!

Test things out slowly at first, and see where you are ranking for the keyword you desire.

That's because you can see if your website is going to be profitable, or if a particular keyword is going to be profitable.
